The Police of Saxony, one of the customers of TETRAsim, is currently exhibiting its TETRAsim classroom system at GPEC 2010 (6th International Exhibition & Conference for Police and Special Equipment) in Leipzig, taking place from 4th to 6th of May. Nach PMRExpo 2009
Die PMRExpo war erneut durchaus erfolgreich. Der neue Veranstaltungsort, Koelnmesse, wurde allen Erwartungen gerecht. Digitalfunkschulung wurde an mehreren Orten thematisiert: am Leitstellenkongress bei der Präsentation von Geschäftsführerin Elina Avela, am Messestand von TETRAsim sowie am Messestand des Innenministeriums Nordrhein-Westfalen und der Institut der Feuerwehr, wo auch die E-Learning-Plattform von TETRAsim und der für die Schulung von zehntausenden Nutzern entworfene Online-Kurs zu sehen waren.
Die E-Learning-Plattform fand auch im Artikel von Behörden Spiegel Erwähnung (siehe Link weiter unten).

Aftermath of PMRExpo 2009
The PMRExpo was again by all means a success. The new venue, Koelnmesse in Cologne fulfilled all expectations. TETRA training was discussed at several places: at the Dispatcher Congress during the speech of CEO Elina Avela, at the stand of TETRAsim and at the stand of Ministry of the Interior and the Fire Department Institute of North Rhine-Westphalia, which also featured the TETRAsim Online Course Editor and their own course content, designed for training tens of thousands of users.
The Online Course platform used by North Rhine-Westphalia was even mentioned in an article of Behörden Spiegel (see link below).

Institut der Feuerwehr Nordrhein-Westfalen eröffnet eine Digitalfunk-Lehrleitstelle mit TETRAsim-Produkten
Am 2. September wurde am Institut der Feuerwehr Nordrhein-Westfalen eine neue Digitalfunk-Lehrleitstelle eröffnet. Das Institut wird insgesamt 120 000 Beschäftigte bei Feuerwehren und Hilfsorganisationen mit dem TETRAsim-Schulungsraumsystem und der TETRAsim Online E-Learning-Plattform ausbilden.
„Der erste Aufschlag muss ein Ass werden“, meinte Karl Peter Brendel, Staatssekretär im nordrhein-westfälischen Innenministerium, der gemeinsam mit Vertretern der kommunalen Spitzenverbände die Lehrleitstelle eröffnete. „Nur durch optimale Vorbereitung kann das große Potenzial des neuen Funknetzes voll ausgenutzt werden“, betonte Brendel und bezeichnete die neue Lehrleitstelle als einen wichtigen Schritt beim Aufbau des neuen Netzes.

Fire Department Institute of North Rhine-Westphalia opens a TETRA training centre with TETRAsim products
On the 2nd of September, a new TETRA training centre was inaugurated at the Fire Department Institute of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Using TETRAsim products, including both TETRAsim classrooms and TETRAsim Online systems, the Institute will train a user base of 120 000 users in fire departments and aid organisations throughout the state.
”The first serve has to be an ace”, said Secretary of State Karl Peter Brendel, who inaugurated the centre together with representatives of the local authorities' associations. ”The best possible preparation is the only way to fully tap the great potential of the new radio network”, Brendel emphasised, describing the new centre as an important step in the buildup of the network.

TETRAsim will be participating the World Metro Rail Summit , held in Shanghai on June 22.-24. TETRAsim training systems, widely applied in the area of public safety, fit also perfectly to TETRA training in public transport.

TETRA World Congress, Munich May 27th-29th
The largest TETRA event of the year, TETRA World Congress (TWC), is finally at hand. This year the event is held in Munich, the capital city of the German federal state of Bavaria. Naturally, TETRAsim will be present.
The Congress is held at the International Congress Centre Munich (Messe Munchen GmbH, Messegelände D-81823 München). TETRAsim can be found at stand G101, right next to the TETRA Association. We will be present with two demo sets: One in English and one in German language. Please come and see the vast possibilities in simulator training for yourself!
Should the history repeat itself, the TWC is going to be an amazing event. Don't miss it. Needless to say that the whole TETRAsim team is looking forward to meeting you in Munich!

The European Police Congress is an international information platform for police and decision makers from security authorities and industries. The European Police Congress is the largest conference for internal security in the European Union. Each year the conference is a meeting place for 1.800 experts. TETRAsim at Dubai, December 17th
"TETRA - The next ten years" -event will be organized in Dubai on December 17th. TETRAsim will be present with a full demo set, so please come and meet us at stand #11. PMR Expo, a great success
TETRAsim was present at Leipzig where the PMR Expo 2009 was held earlier this week. By all measures, the event was handsomely organized and everything went well. Not only did we get to meet with several old partners of ours, but also many new acquaintances were made.
To end the second day of the Expo, the company CEO, Elina Avela, delivered a speech about modern TETRA training. After the speech a lot of questions were posed; something that made us all at TETRAsim extremely happy. The presentation is freely available for downloading (see below).

TETRAsim at the Leipzig PMR-Expo 2008
TETRAsim will be participating the PMRExpo 2008 in Leipzig the 25.-27. November. We invite you to meet us at our stand (K.08) and to acquaint yourself with the TETRAsim training simulators.
The company Chief Executive, Ms. Elina Avela, will also be giving a presentation on modern TETRA training methods. TETRAsim achieved the highest credit rating
TETRAsim has been certified to the highest class in the rating classification. There are seven rating categories. Rating consists of four principal rating bases: operations, background, finances and paying habits. The highest rating is achieved only by 4,4% of all companies in Finland.
European Congress on Disaster Management
This week, on the 8.-9.10. TETRAsim will be participating a congress in Bonn (city hall), Germany. The topics of the congress are closely related to the theme of the seminar: Information, coordination and operation.

TETRAsim also present at the CCR summit 2008
During 1.-2.10.08, TETRAsim was represented at two different geographical sites: Not only in Moscow's TETRA forum (please see the previous article), but also in Netherlands on the CCR summit in Rolduc Kerkrade.
In Rolduc Kerkrade, TETRAsim had an own stand with a full demoset of the famous training system. In addition to having an own stand, the company CEO Mrs. Elina Avela also delivered an impressive speech to end the second day of the seminar.
Needless to say, both of the seminars were great successes. A large number of partners and visitors were met, and a whole bunch of new acquaintances made. TETRAsim eagerly looks forward to all new challenges awaiting!

TETRAsim will be participating the TETRA next 10 years -conference in Moscow on the 1.-2.10.2008. TETRA innovations, the work of ETSI as well as the Russian market for TETRA systems are among the key topics of the conference.
